Te Pūkenga wellbeing platform (Synergy)

The trial of digital wellbeing platform Synergy Health, involved kaimahi from ten Te Pukenga subsidiaries. The results of the trial were highly encouraging, with participants offering feedback such as “ I have learnt so much about physical, mental and financial wellbeing. Please keep this for the long term” and “love the variety of content on this platform”. Comments such as these led to the decision to invest in the platform for all kaimahi in the Te Pukenga network.

If you haven’t already, you can sign up for Synergy Health following the  instructions below. If you need any further information or support, please get in touch with Charice Paterson, Senior Wellbeing Advisor on Charice.Paterson@tepukenga.ac.nz

Clubs to join

Book Club: The Book Club is for both students and staff. We have meet ups and run the popular ‘Around the world’ online event where ‘readers’ get randomly paired with a ‘speaking book’, creating opportunities to hear colleague’s stories, one-to one. For more information contact Sana: ssaleem@unitec.ac.nz

Social Club: The club is member-led, run by staff for staff. We run monthly functions where you can get together with your work colleagues to socialise and get to know each other, sometimes with family/kids, sometimes without. More information here.

Sustainability club:  Our club brings together like-minded students and staff to action small but significant changes across our two campuses. The shared aim is to leave this place better than we found it. More information here.
