Welcome back! A reminder of our approach for January

A message from Christine Hutton…

Kia ora koutou

Welcome back! I hope you all had a wonderful relaxing break with friends and whānau.

For the next two weeks we encourage you to work from home

As Gus outlined in his message last year, from today until 23 January, if you can remain working from home, we encourage you to do so. This will allow our Human Resources and Health and Safety teams time to process everyone’s vaccination certificates/passes and prepare our campuses.

However, if you need or want to be on campus over the next two weeks, please discuss this with your manager. If they’re happy for you to be on campus, please share your vaccination certificate/My Vaccine Pass with your manager either before you enter campus or as you arrive. They will need to sight your proof of vaccination before you can work on campus. You’ll also need to complete the Health and Safety Induction.

From 24 January, we welcome everyone back

From Monday 24 January, we will welcome everyone back on campus, once you have:

Please talk to your manager about your team’s transition back to campus.

  • We’ll continue with a flexible approach where possible – a mix of on-campus and remote working, with teams encouraged to schedule their days so they are not all on campus at once; to help with your plans, please read our new Flexible Working Guidelines
  • With Auckland in CPF Orange, masks are strongly recommended both inside and outside while on campus, and are mandatory in public areas like Te Puna at Mt Albert, which houses the public library and cafes, and the Rangimarie Learning Commons at Waitākere. One-metre distancing is also encouraged.

Proof of vaccination status

If you haven’t already, please upload your vaccination certificate / ‘My Vaccine Pass’ or medical exemption to our portal.

If you are not vaccinated and are not intending to be, please let your manager or Human Resources Business Partner know, and they will work with you.

Ngā mihi
