Over the space of less than a week, the Unitec research house has gone from prepped site to a structure with walls and floor on its site in Mt Albert Road.

The floor is down and the insulated wall panels are in the process of being erected. Next step is to fabricate and install the roof panels – they should be on by the end of the week.

All up, the prefabrication and construction has taken a little over three weeks. The project is expected to be completed by the end of April.

Stay tuned for our final instalment!
