The finalists for the Unitec Excellence Awards – Ngā Tohu Kairangi o Wairaka 2020 have been announced!
Nearly 270 nominations were submitted – that’s 100 more than 2019! Our Executive Leadership team said “Thank you to everyone who took the time to nominate a colleague or team. It’s heartening to see so many of you show your support for colleagues and the great mahi they’ve done to support our students and our institute.”
Our judging panel has selected 42 finalists in the 10 categories. Check out the full list of finalists on our Staff Awards page.
If you haven’t already, to ensure you have access to the lunch and drinks, please register now for the Awards event on Thursday 3 December. You’ll receive a ticket in the internal mail, so keep and eye out in your mail bag and bring your ticket with you on the day. Registration closes on Friday 27 November, 5pm.
It’s all about the ‘Stars of Unitec’ this year! Wear your sparkliest attire, or dress as your favourite celebrity, to join the festive atmosphere. There are prizes to be won – our scouts will be selecting the best dressed team and individuals!
