Design Discipline Lead/Lecturer Jonty Valentine, 2023 Bachelor of Creative Enterprise alumni, Daimler Arcega, and graduating design student, Keagan Skelton have all been named as finalists for this year’s prestigious Best Design Awards — an incredible achievement for our Design and Contemporary Art team! These ere are the projects they have been recognised for:

The winners will be announced at the Best Awards Event in Auckland on Friday, 11 October.
Established in the 1970s, The Best Design Awards is hosted by the Designers’ Institute of New Zealand, and is an annual showcase of excellence in graphic, spatial, product, digital and motion design, along with three special awards – Value of Design, Public Good and Toitanga.
