We are very proud to have another generation of Tominikos on campus. Our Director of Pacific Success, Niko Tominiko, earlier this year, encouraged and supported his parents into fulltime study. A feat at any age to head ‘back to school’ but even more daunting with the move to online teaching due to the COVID-19 lockdown.
Niko’s mum, Makarita, says they are now embracing change; “Before this my husband Setefano only owned a phone that we all had to answer for him, now we can’t get him off the laptop”.

Makarita and Setefano’s new technology skills has also allowed them to have fanau meetings online during lockdown and overseas video chats!
