The following updates 2021 approval deadlines for Programme Development and Improvement submissions. Strict adherence to submission dates is required to meet NZQA deadlines. The link is: 2021 Programme Development Approval dates
NB: We must ensure that the processes leading up to the submission date are completed prior to the Academic Approvals Committee deadline. This means, all applications must:

- Be pre-approved by the Portfolio Leadership Group (PLG) (not required for Type 1 changes); and
- Include:
- a change application form
- an updated tracked changes programme document
- a PID (Programme Information Details) spreadsheet
- Be supported by evidence of PAQC endorsement
- Be submitted to aac@unitec.ac.nz

Note: Cluster moderation have been held for BASCI courses on 17 November 2020. NZCAC – NSCI3775 & NSCI 3795. VetNursng NSCI 5705, 6102 and 7109 will be moderated this year
2.4 Program Developments and Improvements
2.4.1 That the Committee endorses the following Type 1 Change Applications (effective Semester 1, 2021), to NSCI6300 (Veterinary Anaesthesia) under New Zealand Diploma in Veterinary Nursing for submission to Academic Approvals Committee (AAC) for approval:
Note: NSCI 6300 prior changes were approved by AAC Type 2 changes under the Bachelor of Veterinary Nursing programme on 18 August 2020. This course is also taught as a compulsory course under the New Zealand Diploma in Veterinary Nursing.
2.4.2 That the Committee endorses the following Type 1 Change Applications (effective Semester 1, 2021), to NSCI 5742 and NSCI 4713 and NZCI 4714 under New Zealand Certificate in Animal Management for submission to Academic Approvals Committee (AAC) for approval:

PAQC Chair approved on 26 June 2020 for the Type 2 Change Application with an addition of a new elective course NSCI7811 (Advanced Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia) effective Semester 1, 2021 for Bachelor of Veterinary Nursing submission to Academic Approvals Committee (AAC) and was approved on 18 August 2020. - Grade Ratification
Grade Ratification meeting is on Wednesday 02 Dec at 10.00am and Resit exam has been scheduled on Monday14th and Tuesday 15th December 2020.
