The theme for Te Wiki 2024 is ‘Ake ake ake – A Forever Language’. It represents the resilience, adaptability and endurance of our language. It also reflects the commitment New Zealanders have to embracing and learning te reo Māori long into the future.
Come along to these events to celebrate Te Wiki o te Reo Māori at our Mt Albert and Waitākere campuses:
The 3 P’s – Parāoa, Pepeha & Poi
- Enjoy some fresh made Hot Fry Bread, with all the delicious toppings
- Engage in easy fun kōrero with the kaimahi (while enjoying the bread 😊)

Kia ora,
I missed the celebration! However, just wanted to share that in ECE, we celebrated today by learning a new kupu. For example,

titikaha-committed and
ariā- idea/theory.
