Te Pūkenga on-campus event: Developing the People, Culture and Wellbeing Strategy

Te Pūkenga is developing a People, Culture and Wellbeing Strategy for 2023-2027

The People, Culture and Wellbeing Strategy is our ‘people plan’ to deliver on our organisational strategy (Te Piko), recognising that we will need to have a systematic approach to ensure we:

  • fairly and appropriately allocate resources
  • uphold the wellbeing and engagement of our kaimahi
  • maintain cultural harmony
  • support the performance and growth of capability and our organisation

We want kaimahi to see themselves in the future of Te Pūkenga, and we’re committed to ensuring kaimahi voices are at the centre of our strategy design.

We are hosting a roadshow throughout May and June, visiting kaimahi at our subsidiary campuses across the motu.

Details of the event

When: Monday 23 May, 10am to 4pm (drop in any time within this period)
Where: Events kitchen, Te Puna (B180), Mt Albert campus

  • You will have an opportunity to learn more about our vision for People, Culture and Wellbeing at Te Pūkenga, learn what our strategy will cover at a high level, and provide your input and whakaaro on what we should include to ensure that this strategy represents our people.
  • You could visit us for 10 minutes or perhaps 45 minutes at most.
  • You don’t need to prepare anything – just bring an open mind and thoughts about what you want the future of Te Pūkenga to be like for our kaimahi.

Online sessions

If you can’t make it to the on-campus session, Te Pūkenga has scheduled a series of online sessions. The online sessions will be held from 12:30pm – 2pm on:

  • Friday 20 and 27 May
  • Friday 3, 10 and 17 June

You can register for an online session on the website.

Please take this opportunity to get involved and share your voice in this important mahi.

I would like that our Remuneration is very very Urgently looked at and considered which is very important for me & my family as inflation & cost of living is increasing at a great rate & our wages are far far behind.
