We are pleased to share with you the performance framework and targets for our region this year.
The KPIs increase accountability and provide high level guidance on what we are working towards at both MIT and Unitec.
They were developed by Senior Leadership Team in collaboration with extended leadership at both divisions
The framework is centred on Te Tiriti and outlines clear priorities and measurable goals in the following key areas:
- Learner Success, Quality Teaching & Research
- Sustainability & Performance
- Strategic Leadership & Culture
- People Wellbeing & Safety

Please be advised the KPIs do not take the place of the values, principles and performance processes currently in place at MIT and Unitec.
They have been designed to align with those existing kaupapa, allowing us to connect our thinking, efforts and goals at individual and team levels with the regional context through the usual PERFORM (MIT) and Performance Planning/ ADEP (Unitec) processes.
Our P&C team is currently updating these processes and templates to reflect the KPIs and will share these very soon along with opportunities for drop-in sessions for those managers or kaimahi that need support.
