Access4Success Disability Service at Unitec provides resources and advice that enables learners who are Disabled, Neurodiverse, Deaf and/or experience long-term health conditions, to access learning. We partner with students, staff, and external agencies to facilitate a barrier-free learning environment.
Access4Success provides specialised equipment and technology and offers ongoing support, including:
- Assistive Technology (for example, notetaking software, reader pens, digital recorders)
- Sign Language Interpreting
- Access Advisor support
- Note-taking
- Process Exam accommodations, including Reader/writers
- Advocacy
- Temporary parking permits (Mt Albert campus)
