Learning Advisors

Free advice and guidance to help students succeed in their studies:

  • Academic reading and writing, Referencing
  • Maths and Statistics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology
  • Assistance with English language for coursework
  • Study skills e.g. time management, exam skills
  • Māori and Pacific tertiary success

This is primarily done through scheduled and student-requested workshops, drop-in, small group and one to one appointments.

Access4Success Disability Service

Learning support for students with disabilities and learning difficulties such as Dyslexia. Access4Success provides specialised equipment and offers ongoing support, including:

  • Notetakers for lectures
  • Readers/writers for exam support
  • Sign language interpreters
  • Equipment options

The team also provides information on accessible car parks, a drop-in service including study spaces and computers.
