The Unitec African Ubuntu Club, through the spirit of Ubuntu, looks to connect, get together and support African students, staff and anyone who is interested in exploring and celebrating diverse African cultures and traditions. Ubuntu is signified by the phrase, “I am, because we are”, meaning that we do not function nor exist as individuals, but our actions should contribute to the collective good of the communities we find ourselves in.
