Take part in a Stress Management Study

Have you been feeling stressed out recently?

Are you interested in helping out with a research study that looks to find out whether guided muscle relaxation together with stress management education can relieve your stress?

We are looking for 10 female volunteers aged 18 years or older to participate in a pilot study assessing the feasibility and preliminary effectiveness of a proposed therapy package on perceived stress in females.

This study will involve 10 female participants who will be required to attend an initial online familiarisation session that will assess your baseline health and stress levels (30 minutes), followed by three online sessions (60 minutes each) over three consecutive weeks where you will be provided with 10 minutes of stress management education and 15 minutes of a guided progressive muscle relaxation, and asked to complete a small number of stress questionnaires.

Please only volunteer for the study if you are willing to commit to attending all 3 sessions. All volunteers must have access to the internet and video-enabled device. Please do not volunteer for the study if you have any known serious musculoskeletal injury/condition, neuropsychiatric conditions, high or low blood pressure or other cardiovascular condition.
