Student Course Surveys: Extended to 13 November

Semester 2 Student Course Surveys are open until Sunday 13 November – extended by one week.

Students can access their surveys using this link: www.unitec.ac.nz/ratemycourse.

This link can be used by all students. It will take them to the RateMyCourse portal where the student can enter their student ID and the list of courses that have been allocated to them will be shown for them to complete.

This semester we have an additional Te Pūkenga Learner survey which is a short survey about their current experience at Unitec – this is also located in the RateMyCourse portal

Teachers, please send the link to your students and encourage them to participate – student engagement with this process is heavily dependent on staff reminding students to complete the survey. It is recommended that you allocate 15 minutes of class time for your students to complete the surv

Every course survey completed by 5pm Sunday 13 November 2022 gives them a chance to win one of four $100 prezzy cards.

Why we do Student Course Surveys

Student Course Surveys are a key requirement for self-evaluation and an enabler for us to improve our course and programme delivery. Through the survey we practice the principle of Ngākau Māhaki, creating space for students to speak of their experiences and current needs in regards to our teaching and their learning, enabling us to prepare ourselves for students who follow.

The survey is designed to provide a robust and consistent approach of measuring course performance across all of Unitec.
