Secondment Opportunity – Academic Quality and Capability Partner

Academic Quality and Capability Partner: Te Korowai Kahurangi (TKK) (1.0 FTE – through to end of 2022) (job sharing optional)

This is an opportunity for an academic staff member (or two, as proportional) to experience things from the ‘other side’, supporting Schools and the institute as a whole with academic quality related matters, and also offer guidance on how to achieve a positive outcomes.

As an Academic Quality and Capability Partner you’ll support programme teams to develop their evaluative capability and understanding of academic quality related matters. You’ll need to be able to partner with staff across the institute to support good practice and enable adherence to internal academic systems and processes. We’re looking for someone who can engage with and positively influence others, who has significant teaching experience and the mana to work with peers across the institute. Experience in the delivery of postgraduate programmes and a strong understanding of evaluative practice would stand you in good stead for this position as would a strong systems-focus and the ability to take an institutional perspective. This is a key position which can have significant impact on practice across the institute.

Your drive for excellence, a desire to work with others and the ability to influence and enable good practice will be put to good use in this role. While this is a 1FTE position, we are open a job share arrangement.
