We have been working to confirm the areas of parking availability at Mt Albert campus. With the updated campus map now live, we can share further information.
This outlines where carparks are, including several new areas. Please familiarise yourself with the map.

This update applies to all students, staff, contractors and visitors using parking at Mt Albert campus and takes effect from Monday 23rd February, the first day of semester one.
All carparking is paid parking during semester time and are subject to the Traffic, Safety & Parking policy and usual terms and conditions of parking at Mt Albert campus. These documents are located on the Unitec corporate website.

There is parking available at the old gym site that sits between gates 3 and 4. This area is only accessible from Carrington Road. It will be clearly signposted at the entry point, and it too will be paid parking with compliance monitoring.
Ways to Pay
Parking payments can be made via pay-by-plate machines located around campus as denoted on the campus maps, QR codes displayed around campus, and Parkiwi app. More info on these ways to pay are on the Unitec corporate website

Notable Change
The area that has previously been utilised as free parking on the right-hand side as you enter Gate 3 is no longer provided for Unitec use.
DROP-IN DESK
We appreciate these changes may require adjustments and thank you for your patience. The carparking team will have someone available in the Hub this Thursday and Friday alongside Long Black Café to answer any questions from 1:30pm – 2:30pm. Look for a sign that says “CARPARKING QUESTIONS”
