A major project is happening over the coming weeks, to update the older network switches at both the Mt Albert and Waitākere campuses
Network switches direct data to specific locations within our systems in an efficient and secure way.
Once this upgrade is complete, it will enhance the resilience, performance and reliability of the digital platforms and experiences we provide to staff and learners.
The rollout will start this weekend and is, at this point, expected to be complete by Monday 20 April.
The work will be managed on a building-by-building basis, after hours and on weekends, where possible, to minimise any potential disruption to normal business.
Please note that during the upgrade window for a building, all wired and wireless network services to that location will be unavailable.
We will be sharing the dates on which work is planned with affected teams well in advance so they know what to expect and ensure continuity of our operations.
