Multifactor authentication has been enabled when accessing Te Aka/ the Nest externally
To further enhance security for Unitec when accessing thenest.unitec.ac.nz from outside of the Unitec campuses, staff will be asked to Sign in to Microsoft and complete multifactor authentication.
You will need to enter you staff Unitec email address and then you will be redirected to the Unitec login page where you will enter your password.
If you are having issues loading the theNest page after entering your credentials please clear your Browser cache and cookies. If you need assistance, please contact the Service Desk.
To clear cache and cookies:
Holding the CTRL-SHIFT-DEL keys when in the browser will bring up a screen that will provide a prompt to clear cache settings across browsers such as Edge/Chrome and Firefox. Clear cookies as well.
