The Prime Minister recently announced a one-off public holiday on Monday 26 September to mark Her Majesty’s passing.
The State Memorial Service for the Queen will be held in the Wellington Cathedral of St Paul on the same day.
For Unitec staff and students operations-wise, the day will be treated like any other public holiday with the institute closed for both learning and teaching.
