Check out these financial wellbeing workshops offered by Te Pukenga.
The first one on Feb 29 was about budgeting and managing cash flow successfully. The workshop had two parts – things you need to know like your money type, financial life stages, your net income, and practical things you can do such as a structure to set up all your different accounts and the two proven systems to save.
There was also a virtual goodie bag, featuring among other things, access to MyFinancialRoadmap.co.nz , an independent online platform brought to you by the planning experts at Massey University Financial Education Centre and SurePlan Financial. If you are only getting to this now, you can still get the goodies- just email Caroline@SurePlanFinancial.co.nz to get your unique user code.
Session 2 is about mastering your mortgage. Happening online, this Thursday from 12.30pm – 1.30pm, you will get to check your understanding of different loan structures and products, and learn what strategies are being employed by people who pay their loans off years ahead of schedule and save tens of hundreds of thousands of dollars in interest.
