Kia ora koutou,
Over 2025 members of the MIT and Unitec whanau have worked away on the development of a number of Ako AI Agents for use with our ākonga. You can think of these agents as mini customised versions of ChatGPT chatbots designed to help teachers to teach and learners to learn. They are custom designed in partnerships between academic advisers and lecturers in a range of different subject areas across MIT and Unitec.
This showcase is an opportunity for kaimahi at MIT and Unitec to come along to see and hear about these agents and the impact they are having on the learning experience of our ākonga.
We will be hosting the showcase twice:
- 10th February 10.30 – 12.30 Manukau Campus MCA_L1/127 (100)
- 11th February 10.30 – 12.30 Mt Albert Campus 183-1104
Each showcase will feature an introduction from Professor Martin Carroll, facilitated by the Ako AI Agent project leadership team, (James Oldfield, Maia Topp and Sharnell Aumua) and include many of our kaimahi involved.
Hope to see many of you and your teams there.
Ngā mihi nui
