Workshop 1: Hands on with AI – Microsoft Copilot

Get setup and ready to use the free version of Microsoft Copilot on your own device (smartphone or laptop). Te Puna Ako team will walk you through some examples and approaches to get the most out of this generative AI tool.

Workshop 2: Generative AI and Assessment Design

This workshop will focus on a key topic: designing assessments in the age of Generative AI. We need to discuss two important questions:

  • How to ensure learners have met learning outcomes?
  • How can we prepare students for a workforce infused with Generative AI?

Workshop 3: AI Literacy for Learners Digital Resource Preview

You’re invited to preview the AI Literacy for Learners module, a digital resource crafted for ākonga. Available to teachers in October, this module can be optionally embedded in a Moodle course. The module covers concise AI concepts, practical applications, prompting techniques and guidance on the responsible use of AI.
