Free vaccination day – Waitākere, 6 October

When: Thursday 6 October, 10am – 2pm

Where: Waitākere campus, B510 main floor

Free vaccinations will be available to staff, students and the public, this Wednesday from 10pm to 2pm for Covid-19, influenza and measles.

Manaaki packs including coffee and kai and potential prizes will be available for those who receive a vaccination. This is part of a wider community outreach campaign and Unitec has been invited to participate.

Please allow for 20 minutes wait time after the vaccination.

Eligibility criteria

COVID

  • Anyone aged 5 and over can receive their Covid-19 Vaccination, given they didn’t test positive with the Covid-19 virus in the past 3 months
  • Boosters will be available too, including second dose. A time frame of six months must be between the first booster and the second

FLU

  • Anyone aged over 6 months can have a flu vaccine.
  • Vaccine that will be made available on the day is Afluria Quad Flu Vaccine.

  • Open to anyone who hasn’t had it
