Calling all badminton enthusiasts or those who just want to give it a go.
Social badminton games are starting up soon at the Y Mt Albert Community and Leisure Centre, every Monday from 19 May to 6 October 2025 (excluding King’s Birthday public holiday on Monday 2 June)
Dust of the old racket and come and have a game. Or come along and learn the basics!
Some coaching will be provided by Hung Ngo, who is a qualified badminton instructor.
Bookings will need to be made each week for games – first come, first served. The costs have been subsidised for Unitec kaimahi through the Wellness Programme.

What you will need:
1. Own transport to venue
2. Indoor sports shoes and clothing
3. Badminton gear – if you don’t have a racket, you can enquire about borrowing one. Shuttlecocks will be provided.
