The learner journey: Share your input on how to make it more accessible to come and study

Learners are at the centre of everything we do – what are the barriers and enablers, how do we make it even more accessible to come and study? Share your thoughts.

Take the opportunity to have your say and help build a stronger future and more nurturing journey for our staff and students.

Our Te Pūkenga ‘Learner Centred Design Working Group’ representatives, Executive Director – Schools and Performance,Nick Sheppard, and Director – Student Success, Annette Pitovao, want to encourage our staff and students to participate in feedback forums online and on our campuses over the next few weeks.

Te Pūkenga has appointed the national working group to co-design an engagement programme that reaches across subsidiaries, transitional ITOs and broader communities, and other relative network forums. This is the activation of the engagement process that will allow students and staff to share the barriers and enablers they experienced at each stage of their learning journey.

Nick and Annette sat down with our team to explain why this is such an important kaupapa. Watch the video (2 mins) and share you feedback on the ‘learner journey’ in this form here (by Wednesday 14 October 2020). You can also share your comments on the posters at Mt Albert campus in Te Puna (in the corner space opposite the Ask Me desk) or at Waitākere campus in the student space.
