Manukau Institute of Technology and Unitec co-branding
While we will continue to support our separate MIT and Unitec brands in the market, there will be occasions where we need to communicate as a combined entity. To support a clear and consistent presence, we are introducing co-branded logo lockups and guidance on look and feel for use in specific situations.
Here’s a quick guide to help you know when to use which logo:
When communicating to Unitec audiences
- Continue to use the Unitec logo as usual.
- This applies to all student and prospective student communications, as well as general Unitec brand activities.
- Where we might have a student-facing document where the content is the same across both institutions, we continue to use the Unitec logo.
- You can find Unitec logos and guidelines below, email signature guidelines and office templates.
When working across both institutions – updated email signature available now
- For kaimahi who work across the combined entity, a co-branded lockup will be used for email signatures.
- This is available now. Send your request to marketing@unitec.ac.nz for the revised email signature template.
For joint communications and strategic documents
- If the communication represents the combined entity, for example, the Strategic Directions document, it will carry a co-branded lockup with neutral branding.
Events and joint activities
- For events or initiatives where both institutions are represented, we may use both MIT branding and Unitec branding, and co-branded logo lock ups. This depends on the context and the audience, and marketing can support in helping define this with you.
For support and guidance on which logo and look and feel to use and for the cobranded assets and guidelines, contact marketing@unitec.ac.nz.
