Marketing and communications team structure

Who does what and who to contact.
The marketing and communications division is located in building 110-1039 at Mt Albert campus. Vivienne Merito steers the ship made up of four teams:

  • Communications and events
    The team looks after internal comms on the Nest and staff communications, external comms, media contacts and events. E.g. Staff Excellence Awards and Open day.

  • Insights
    The insight team does amazing things with survey and numbers and turn them into actionable tasks.

  • Brand and Digital.
    The Brand and Digital looks after the Unitec brand, student recruitment campaigns & advertising, the Unitec external website and social media.

  • Product and International.
    The team consists of the international relationship manager(s) and the product business partner(s), they work closely with school APMs to develop and execute marketing strategies and are the liaison between the marketing team and Unitec’s schools.

 Marketing insights reports – including student net promotor score (NPS)

The marketing team regularly produce, insights to help Unitec make more informed decisions.

Student NPS

The student NPS survey is a survey that goes out to all students who are enrolled in a formal programme of study with Unitec in one of the main semesters. The survey is done each semester (excluding summer school). It is Unitec’s main student engagement metric and is explained further in the report.
