The Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) is available to all staff. It’s a free and confidential service, providing staff with an opportunity to address issues that may affect their workplace performance, either personal or work related. It allows staff to access independent, experienced, New Zealand registered practitioners if they have a problem that they would like some professional expert advice or assistance with.
Unitec will pay for three appointments and no authority is required for staff to access this resource.
EAP Services, an independent organisation, manages this programme for Unitec and many other organisations. Staff who access the service remain confidential to EAP only.
