Upcoming planned maintenance activities – latest update 4/7/25 Unitec Property – Planned work for July 2025

 

Building 048 is closing to Staff and Students for the period 27th June 2025 to 8th February 2026 for construction works to be carried out. For health & safety reasons staff / student access will be deactivated from the 30th June.

From the 14th July parking around the building will also be unavailable as the Contractor will have temporary fencing erected to the perimeter of B48.

For Semester 2 2025 the School of Architecture is relocating to the following locations at Unitec:

  • B182 – 3001, 3002, 3003
  • B180 – 3003
  • B108 – 1085

Thanks for your patience whilst we undertake necessary construction works to Building 048.

Temporary Parking Changes between Gates 3 & 4.

There will be some temporary layout changes to the carpark area surrounding the old gym site. These changes will be in place from Monday 28th April until further notice. This is to accommodate works being undertaken and Unitec will still have access to the same number of carparks in this area, they  will just be laid out differently. Please note: this parking is PAID.

Job logging Updates

We are pleased to let you know that our new ACAFM system will launch this Friday. 11 April, 2025.
The upgrade replaces the existing FM Help job logging function and is part of our ongoing commitment to enhance our services and improve user experience.
Key information:
No action is required from you at this stage. We simply want to let you know of the upcoming change.

Below are a series of screenshots that give you a preview of the new job-logging interface, as well as an example of the confirmation email you’ll receive following a new request.

We do not anticipate any issues with the transition and the links will be updated so that you can still access FM Help at the same location on The Nest/Te Aka, however please share any feedback with us by email to FMGeneral@unitec.ac.nz.
