The ALLY Network

The Ally Network has put together a helpful ‘Pronouns guide for kaimahi.

Please take a look if you are wondering how to address pronouns in your class, and if you have any further questions don’t hesitate to email them at ally@unitec.ac.nz

If you are struggling to address this with your students, or have a lot of questions, we are more than happy to organise one-on-one sessions with you!

Rainbow support for staff at Unitec

Welcome to our Rainbow Community at Unitec! Our goal is to create a safe and inclusive space for staff who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, or any other sexual or gender identity. Whether you’re still in the closet or fully out, we’re here to offer a listening ear and a helping hand.

On this page, you’ll find information on resources available to you on campus and in your local community, including counseling services, LGBTQ+ clubs and organizations, and support groups. We’ll also keep you updated on any upcoming events or workshops that may be of interest to you.
