Register now for the FREE Synergy health platform!

Once you’ve registered, you and your whānau will have access to educational resources, challenges, competitions, and special offers to support your wellbeing.

As Gus and Keith mentioned, Unitec and MIT are part of a three-month pilot to try out the platform. There’s no obligation to commit long term – it’s all about exploring the platform, to see if it’s right for us (and the other subsidiaries in the pilot).

How does it work?

To get the most out of this platform, start with filling out a wellbeing scorecard. Your Wellbeing Scorecard is confidential and provides you with an insight into where to best invest your time and energy to leave you looking, feeling, and performing at your best in all aspects of your life.

It takes approximately 6-8 minutes to complete and covers a range of topics (see side image). By completing all the questions you gain:

  • Instant Bronze Level! That’s 200 points to help you access better rewards and benefits, including prizes
  • A free, expert report with your overall wellbeing score and the healthy habits you can take to improve your wellbeing
  • Personalised recommendations of challenges and content based on your responses

 What makes it so special?

You can also invite up to 5 family and friends so they can run through it with you. This means you can do challenges together such as increasing your movement or eating sugar-free diet. See below examples of other challenges available.

Within the platform, you also have the opportunity to win prizes by getting involved in competitions or commenting on posts. Currently running is a Papeha challenge.

Why have we chosen to pilot the programme?

MIT and Unitec continue to put up our hands to lead the change to Te Pukenga and further collaborate with our peers. We also see this as a great way to increase our employee wellbeing with readily available tools that can be accessed from their phones or home computers.
