Important update: Due to the recent alert level change, the on-campus Open Day is postponed, and the Open Day team will announce a new date when it is confirmed.
Open Day is our largest student attraction event and couldn’t be done without the commitment and mahi of Unitec staff across the whole organisation.
If you are giving your time to represent your School or Support Service – or, just as importantly, wanting to volunteer to help out on the day at either our Waitākere or Mt Albert Campus, please register here if you haven’t already. We couldn’t do it without you.
Registrations close Thursday 19 August at 5pm. Please ensure you register to ensure you receive a t-shirt (if you don’t already have one) and lunch.
Online and On-Campus
In keeping with industry best practice, we will be holding two different versions: Open Day Online on Tuesday 24 August (6:00pm-8:00pm). Open Day on-campus is postponed until further notice.
The online version is to give potential ākonga and their influencers the chance to have any questions answered in an accessible and convenient way. They’ll also experience Unitec’s commitment to innovation, adaptability and our ability to collaborate. It’s a great way for us to promote our high-quality programmes and student-focused teaching approach. Our attending academic and support service staff will provide insight to a great range of people (as well as push for attendance to the Open Day On-Campus a couple of weeks later).
If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact Paul Hays and please remember to register before August 13.
We look forward to seeing you there and hope you enjoy the experiences.
