Pink Shirt Day this Friday

It’s Pink Shirt Day this Friday 21 May. Why not use this opportunity to come together as a team, dress in pink and share a kai and/or a kōrero.

Our TEU staff are hosting a Pink Shirt Day event in Te Puna, Mt Albert. They encourage you to join them in Te Puna, wear something pink and show your support to opposing discrimination and bullying. They have cookies and leaflets to share!

What is Pink Shirt Day?

Pink Shirt Day is about working together to stop bullying by celebrating diversity and promoting kindness and inclusiveness. It’s about creating a community where all people feel safe, valued and respected, regardless of age, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, or cultural background.

In Aotearoa, Pink Shirt Day works to create schools, workplaces, communities and whānau where everyone feels safe, valued and respected.
