In the last few weeks, Senior Leadership Team has shared the performance framework and targets for MIT and Unitec for 2025, in the form of the Tāmaki (MIT and Unitec) Ngā Tohu Mahi Matua (KPIs) 2025.
These were developed by SLT in collaboration with extended leadership at both divisions and provide high level guidance on what we are working towards across both MIT and Unitec.
The KPIs do not take the place of the values and principles we have in place around performance – ie. Performance Partnering (ADEPs) – rather, they flow through to support and enable that process, allowing us to connect our thinking, efforts and goals at individual and team levels with the broader regional context.
Our Performance Partnering templates have been updated to reflect these and are now available here to support your individual and team planning. These include:

- 2025 ADEP Plan Template
What you need to do (if you haven’t already…)
- Ensure team alignment – leaders will be working with their teams to develop and share aligned team action plans for 2025, keep an eye out for these and ask your manager if you’re not sure where they are at.
- Close out 2024 with a Review of Achievements – meet with your manager and have your review conversation for 2024; use the review form to document what is agreed.
- Set direction for 2025 with ADEP Planning – meet with your manager to set your goals for 2025; use the ADEP form to capture this.
- Don’t forget to upload your Review and ADEP forms to PeopleSoft once they’ve been signed off as we will be reporting regularly on completion of requirements.
