You’re invited to a Block Party to welcome you back on campus and kick off this year on a different note.
All of us now have new office spaces and with that, new neighbours. This is an opportunity for us to cement this new layout, take one step outside of our immediate teams, and network, get to know other departments that share our spaces.
The party is 90 min long – you are welcome to drop in and stay for however long you can. There will be nibbles and refreshments, and most importantly, facilitated games by our Social Club members. We will do what we do best – mix and mingle, and help you meet new people.
In the week of 12th February, the party will move from block to block, campus to campus.
- Monday party will be in the Red block which includes B111-B115 and level 2 of B110
- Tuesday party will be in the Green block which includes B510, our Waitakere campus. Everyone is encouraged to come along – especially the staff that haven’t yet been to this campus.
- Wednesday party will be in the Yellow block which includes B93, 97, 100, 103, 107, 108, 307
- Thursday party will be in the Blue block which includes B48, 149-165, 170, 171, 177 and 178
- Friday party will be in the Orange block which includes B180, 182, 183 and Level 1 of B110
All staff and teams that occupy those spaces should have received a calendar invite. Didn’t receive yours? Please email mzidov@unitec.ac.nz

Thank you for the Block Party yesterday. It was good to see colleagues coming together from our neck of the woods, otherwise we would all be confined to our work spaces only.

Thanks for organising the Blue Block Party. It was great. Nice to meet people from a variety of areas. In the shade, a bit of food, a little activity to get us talking – perfect.
