While STEPtember is a worldwide campaign, your fundraising is going towards cutting-edge research, and providing programmes and services to enhance their quality of life for both those with cerebral palsy & the people caring for them – all right here in New Zealand.

Keep reading for some tips on raising your fundraising totals.

If you’ve struggled to get off the ground with your fundraising, here are a few ideas you can try:

  • Email the link to your page to your family and friends, letting them know the commitment you’ve made to STEPtember, and what their donation will contribute to.
  • Be social: Share your progress and link to your page on social media
  • Think outside the box: one top fundraiser promised to shave his head once he reached his target, and other team committed to walking around Sydney in Gorilla suits once they hit their target…what could you do to entice your friends, family and colleagues to donate?!

There are some great materials you can use, such as a frame for your social media profile, on the STEPtember website.

Keep up the great work everyone, there are just TWO WEEKS to go until the end of STEPtemer…who will be our stepping and fundraising champs?
