Free vaccinations will be available to staff, students and the public ( so friends and family can also attend) this Wednesday from 10pm to 2pm for Covid-19, influenza and measles.
Vaccinations will take place on the courtyard behind the Te Puna Waiora Health Centre – down the stairs from Te Puna.
Please allow for 20 minutes wait time after the vaccination.
Manaaki packs including coffee and kai and potential prizes will be available for those who receive a vaccination. This is part of a wider community outreach campaign and Unitec has been invited to participate.
- Anyone aged 5 and over can receive their Covid-19 Vaccination.
- Anyone over 50 years of age is eligible to receive their second Booster Vaccination (Check if you are eligible here)
- A time frame of six months must be between the first booster and the second
- You are eligible if you haven’t tested positive with the Covid-19 virus in the past 3 months.
- Afluria Quad Flu Vaccine. Anyone aged over 6 months can have a flu vaccine.
- MMR – open to anyone who hasn’t had it
