Congratulations to our new Professors, Associate Professors and Senior Lecturers

The Senior Academic Staff Appointments and Promotions (SAAP) process is an opportunity for our academic staff to apply to be promoted.

Congratulations to Unitec’s four new Professors, five new Associate Professors and 10 new Senior Lecturers who were successful in the 2022 SAAP round.

“The SAAP Committee was delighted at the high calibre of applications, strongly supported by an impressive array of national and international referees.  We are particularly pleased this year to be able to recognise the outstanding talents of our four new professors.  Academic leadership at Unitec is in very good hands,” said Prof. Martin Carroll, SAAP Committee Chair.

    Congratulations all!
Will there be Inaugural Professorial Lectures for the new appointments? Although I’ve heard bits and pieces about the work each of these people has done, it would be interesting to hear more about the research they do, learn about the impact they have had and their goals for the future.
