There’s just one week to go so REGISTER NOW! It’s a great way to remind yourself of the benefits of riding a bike, the freedom of two wheels and to experience the wind in your hair (through your helmet of course!).
By joining in you’ll be able to contribute to our Team Unitec points tally and help us win for a fourth year in a row, all it takes is a 10 minute/1 km ride. Plus it’s FREE, there’s lots of PRIZES (see below) and if you haven’t ridden before or feeling a bit rusty, we’ll help you out with access to bikes and events to enjoy.
You can also earn points while riding to work – it’s know as an ‘active’ commute – saves a gym session later in the day, plus it’s stress-free and saves on your petrol money!

Ride for the prizes
The Bike Challenge team has lots of fantastic prizes including bike gear, gift vouchers and much more. There’s also weekly spot prizes and special rewards if you support the Bike Challenge charity recipient, Variety the Children’s Charity. You can also go in the draw to win $1,500 to spend on a brand new bike or accessories by recruiting colleagues and getting them on bikes! To go into the draw, once you’re signed-up, click on the ‘recruit friends’ tab.
