Wellness Classes continuing through to November

HOW IT WORKS

If you would like to give them a go, this is how it works:

  • Staff pay $5 per session, Unitec pays the rest of facilitator’s fee. No cash is accepted. Payment is to be made via bank transfer to Unitec account and you can pre-pay for either 5 or 10 sessions at a time (so $25 or $50 transfer)
  • Weekly timetable is set. To book you need to email connect@unitec.ac.nz each week with classes you want to do the following week. You will then receive the calendar invite with all the details, or an email reply in case the class is already full.
  • The Wellbeing team will keep track of how many more pre-paid sessions you’ve got to go
  • If your plans change- you can cancel of course. But there is a cancelation policy in place. If you give less than 24 hour notice, it makes it very difficult for me to find a replacement. So then $5 charge for that class will be charged

Please follow these instructions:

· Deposit either $25 or $50 to Unitec’s bank account. The number is 03-0826-0168942-000

· You must include your name, 270000 60ES as the code, and Fitness as the reference.

· Take a screenshot of your receipt and email to connect@unitec.ac.nz

2. Book classes for the next week

  • Once you’ve made the payment, and perhaps as part of the payment confirmation email, tell me what sessions that week you would like to book.
  • I will send you a calendar invite or email reply in case the class is already full.
  • Group reminders will be sent every Wednesday, asking staff to send their booking requests through for the following week.

NEW SCHEDULE

NOTE: The Wednesday morning session is a bit of an experiment. One week it will be yoga class, next week, it will be a Pilates class. We will start with morning Yoga, 14th September.
