Survey out now: Travel and flexi-work

Travel is an important aspect of work life and contributes to Unitec’s Sustainability strategy. The purpose of this bi-annual survey is to get a quick snapshot of the different ways and how often we travel to work. It will also be a great opportunity to see how flexible work arrangements have changed our commuting patterns and needs.

On Tuesday 21 June, our permanent and fixed term staff received an email from Gus and Keith with a link to the Travel Survey – the link is unique to you.

Please don’t forward it on. If you think you should have received it and you didn’t, please contact Kim Woods to enquire – don’t ask a colleague to forward it to you.

The survey will be open until 08 July.

Only five minutes to complete!

The survey has been made shorter than previous years’ and will take no more than five minutes to complete

Completing the survey gets you in a draw for a Fitbit or movie pass. You will be entered into the draw to win prizes automatically. Your entry details will be separated from your survey responses to ensure your feedback remains anonymous

The results will be used to update our Travel plan and inform Te Pukenga’s Carbon reduction plan. Summary of Results will be shared with Executive and all our kaimahi

Please do participate and encourage others to do so – this survey is important, particularly as we see the increasing effects of climate change. As an organisation that values sustainable thinking, we’re looking at ways that we can reduce our own ecological footprint and encourage our people to do the same.
