A new way to access LinkedIn Learning

For some time now, Unitec has provided our kaimahi with access to self-directed learning through LinkedIn Learning – a great web-based tool that offers a wide range of videos and courses, led by passionate industry experts, to help you grow your skills and knowledge.

If you’re a regular user of LinkedIn Learning, you may have noticed that you can no longer access it via the Nest as unfortunately we no longer hold an organisational license for this tool.  However, we do recognise the value that it can offer, and we encourage you to continue to engage with this tool if you’re finding it useful – you can do so easily with an Auckland Libraries membership.

Auckland Libraries provide its members with free unlimited access to LinkedIn Learning:

  • If you’re already a member, you can jump straight in and start learning.  Here is an easy step-by-step guide to accessing LinkedIn Learning via the Auckland Libraries website.
  • If you don’t have a current Auckland Libraries membership, it’s free and easy to join up – find out here.

LinkedIn Learning gives you access to over 16,000 on-demand courses and covers a wide range of topics – it’s not just about professional development, you can access topics on personal development, health and wellbeing, diversity, etc – just about anything really.

See LinkedIn Learning on the Nest for some suggested learning pathways and courses.
