Grammarly rollout for students and staff

Grammarly is a digital writing assistance tool that automatically detects grammar, spelling, punctuation, word choice, tone and style mistakes in writing. It can work across Windows/Apple, Google Chrome and Microsoft Outlook

How is it being rolled out across Unitec?
Grammarly is in a staged rollout with a focus on our Priority Group students then extended to the wider students and staff.

When can students get a licence?
Priority Group students will receive an invite commencing Monday 7th March. Then we will extend the invitation to all students from Monday 21st March.

When can staff get a licence?
Staff will be invited to receive a licence as of Monday 21st March as well.

I already have a licence, do I need to do anything?
No, your licence will continue unless you don’t require it anymore. If this is the case please let us know and we can reallocate it.

I have more questions, who can I ask?
Please email our Assistive Technology Advisor, Hamish Cosford.
