Our annual Unitec Excellence Awards were online this year. It wasn’t our usual gathering of staff from across our Mt Albert and Waitākere campuses, but the aroha and celebration could be felt through the screen.
Thank you to everyone who attended, left a comment and cheered through the screen for our finalists and winners, to acknowledge the many amazing things we’ve achieved this year.
Thanks also to our outstanding MC Darlene Cameron for creating a welcome, relaxed yet respectful vibe and made our presenters and winners feel at ease – ngā mihi nui ki a koe Darlene.
Matua Vince Hapi – Kaumatua at MIT (standing in for Matua Hare who is on bereavement leave), along with our Executive team and Annette Pitovao shared stories of our winners and congratulated them for their contribution and achievement over the past year.
