Operating Model update from Te Pūkenga: Friday 29 October

A message from Te Pūkenga

We are now halfway through our engagement on the proposed Operating Model. In this edition you’ll find some reminders on how to provide feedback, some new frequently asked questions and details on how to book into one of the staff virtual presentation sessions.

How to provide feedback

Your feedback is very important to us, please share your voice before 5pm, Monday 8 November 2021.

You can do this by:

  • visiting our online engagement portal and sharing your thoughts tepukenga.ac.nz
  • you can also choose to provide feedback by email to yourvoice@tepukenga.ac.nz using this Feedback Template
  • connect in with your leaders to find out if there are local workshops or activities that you are able to participate in.

As you complete your feedback, we encourage you to talk to your peers, whānau, union and/or manager. Your feedback will be used to help shape our Operating Model which will then guide future conversations with you about our governance structure, regional boundaries and organisational structure.

New Questions and Answers

We have updated our frequently asked questions.

You will find some new answers for Teaching/Academic staff, mainly around Ako networks; new Employer answers on how we will work with WDCs and RSLGs, Ako networks and fees; and some updated learner answers.

If you still can’t find an answer to your question, email us at yourvoice@tepukenga.ac.nz and we will get back to you.

Invitation to virtual presentation sessions for staff

In addition to presentations being held in your own organisation, Te Pūkenga leadership team will also be presenting the proposed Operating Model and taking questions from staff across Te Pūkenga, ITP subsidiaries, Work Based Learning and the TITOs.

These sessions started last week to provide you, as staff, another chance to come online and hear about how we are proposing to work together in the future.

We’ve also been hosting targeted sessions for learners, Iwi, Pacific and disability groups, and employers to take them through the proposed Operating Model.
