Auckland Climate Festival – celebrating climate action

The Auckland Climate Festival, on this week and next, showcases new thinking on a raft of key sustainability-related issues and highlights organisations that are really having an impact in our city.

It’s also an opportunity for you to think about something other than COVID and do something new.

This festival is a great place to get inspired and informed so you can best contribute to the Te Pukenga Sustainability Strategy conversation.

Te Pūkenga has indicated signs of real commitment to sustainability. Ehsan Yaeghoobi, Sustainability Lead with Te Pūkenga, spoke at a recent Unitec Sustainability Club hui about the sustainability framework to be put in place by the end of this year and invited contributions.

Unitec has a solid track record in the area of campus sustainably, putting us in a good position to bring our perspectives to the table and contribute at a strategic level to Te Pūkenga’s sustainability framework.  More information about this is coming next week.
