Take some time out to reset with our Wellness activities in November and December

As we near the end of the year, why not treat yourself to something a bit different while you’re at work! Take some time out to try our Wellness activities; they’re designed to give you a chance to reset and look after your physical and mental health. Whether you participate alone or round up your team mates, it’s a great opportunity to take a break and connect with colleagues.

Social Gatherings

TED talk, Thursday 19 November

Wind down after work and join us for a TED talk and a rich discussion that inevitably follows. Light refreshments are provided, and we meet from 4.30 – 5.30pm at B114-2001. Book club, Wednesday 25 November

More than just a book swap/library – this is an opportunity for staff to get together in an informal capacity and chat over a slice of cake. Bring a book you have enjoyed reading and tell us about it, and if you like, bring couple of books you wouldn’t mind leaving behind. Brought to you by the Sustainability club. Meet at B112 Staff Kitchen, 3.30 – 4.15pm.

Social Club Christmas Party, Wednesday 9 December

Everyone is invited to join this year’s Social Club end of the year party – we all have the need and a very good reason to celebrate! The party theme is survivor, and yes it was a COVID inspired idea! We will meet at Unitec Events kitchen in Te Puna, from 5pm – 9pm. Here you can see how you can join the club, but if you are not really into commitment and all that jazz, get in touch to find out the deal for casuals.
