Manaaki Whenua Tuesdays in November – all welcome

Nau mai haere mai. Come along to help take care of te taiao, our natural environment. Enhance your own wellbeing by connecting to the whenua. Te Waiunuroa o Wairaka is the name of the sacred spring which is part of Mt Albert campus. He taonga. A site of cultural and historical significance, as well as significant ecological site. A source of wellbeing for the biodiversity and many life systems supported by her life giving waters.

When: Tuesday 17 or 24. (You can come along to one or both Tuesday sessions)

Time: Karakia and health and safety kōrero at 9.30am, then stay for as long as you like

Where to meet: Outside Puukenga beside the pā harakeke

What to bring: Gloves, or small garden tools if you have them. Not essential – we also have some tools to share.

Shared kai: At lunchtime.
