A fantastic secondment opportunity is available for a passionate educator to work between our Te Puna Ako and Trades and Services teams, as an Academic Advisor. Expressions of Interest (EOI) are open for this position to cover a period from 10 August (approximate start date) until 31 March 2021.
The Expressions of Interest closing date is midday Friday 24 July.
Academic Advisor role
This role works with lecturers to improve the quality of learning and teaching. This particular secondment is dedicated to the School of Trades and Services. As an Academic Advisor you will provide academic advice and support, develop and deliver structured professional development, support course development or improvement and quality assurance processes. You will work to build strong working relationships with staff and programme leaders to enable innovative approaches to curriculum design, assessment and teaching and learning, including e-Learning.
You will be a passionate educator with a proven track record in high quality teaching, staff development and course development. You will have the ability to coach adults, be fully engaged with continuous professional development and have a passion for supporting peers to develop themselves accordingly.
